Home Watch

Home Watch is now up and running . . . so watch your step!? Home Watch in Wreningham is coordinated on a street by street basis and I now offer contact detail for each street co-ordinator:

Church Rd: Ian Dobson T 489725;
Hethel Rd: Paul Hart T 481967;
Wymondham Rd: Jean Lambourne T 481947;
Ashwellthorpe Rd: VACANCY;
Mill Lane: Graham Crummett ;
Top Row: Jane Tallent T 489688.

It is down to the ‘Coordinator’ and as many ‘Members’ as can be recruited to keep an eye out for their street! Members also receive update newsletters from Norfolk Constabulary Safer Neighbourhood Teams in the media of their choice i.e. by email or phone. Coordinators are there to liaise with you, with the Police, as well as keeping a look out for potential crime in the village.

The Home Watch Scheme has four main objectives:

  • to prevent crime
  • to help with the detection of criminals
  • to reduce undue fear of crime
  • develop improved police – community relations.

We are pleased that Wreningham is a quiet village with little crime and Home Watch works to keep it that way. Home Watch Coordinators and Members are working in the background to keep the village crime free. Do your part and keep an eye out reporting any suspect activity via the new 101 number. In an EMERGENCY always call 999.
