Our project was reported again in EDP and Evening News. The last test pits of the 2018 season will be dug on Saturday.

We have one on the corner of Wymondham Rd and Ashwellthorpe Rd and we will reopen and hopefully finish the one we started in the playing-field. Meet at 10am at Pear Tree Farm, Wymondham Rd and we will split into two teams to tackle the two pits.

We also have the finds from the last test-pits to wash and Keith at Pear Tree Farm has volunteered his garden as a base for the day, so people can do that there (if anyone has a spare tooth brush and washing-up bowl, they may be useful!).

Depending on how many people are interested, we will have another barbeque afterwards, either at the village hall as before, or at Pear Tree Farm. Please let me know whether you will take part on Saturday and whether you want to come to the barbeque, as soon as possible. If enough people are interested in the barbeque I will try to open up the village hall bar again.
