Norfolk Highways have advised that there will be Rolling Road closures between Mulbarton to Carlton Rode. This is to undertake road surface repairs along the B1113. (You may have noticed many white paint markings outlining repair sites on this road.) These are planned for overnight from 7pm to 6am. Diversions will be sign posted. See documents below for details.

NCC is to make a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the U76091 Ashwellthorpe Road from its junction with U78014 Mill Lane for 300m south-westwards in the WRENINGHAM to facilitate UKPN new connection works.

The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 9th to 13th January 2023 for the duration of the works expected to be about 5 days within the period.

STRO2351: Temporary road closure (except for access) from 25th February 2019 to 24th May 2019 – C346/ C513 Long Stratton Road from its junction with C349 Tabernacle Lane for a distance of 1000 metres south eastwards in the PARISH OF FORNCETT because of works to connect a new portable water main.

The Village Village Hall Committee, which is organising the fireworks display for 3rd November, has obtained a temporary road closure notice for Mill Lane – either side of the Village Hall. Details below:

NCC have sent us notice of a temporary closure on part of Church Road from 13th to 24th August. Please see the official documentation below:

  1. The Order – This allows the Traffic Authority (Norfolk County Council) to temporarily restrict or prohibit the use of a road and/or footpath.
  2. The ‘Propose To’ Notice (PT)– This is the public Notice we must advertise at least seven days before making an Order.
  3. The ‘Has Made’ Notice (HM)– This is the public Notice we must advertise within 14 days of making an Order.

The proposed order comes into effect on the date shown. We have received notification from NCC that the road though Top Row will be closed from 15 January to 18 February. This is to enable work to replace the water main through Top Row to go ahead.

As yet we do not know precisely what this means for residents in Top Row and will seek clarification in the next few days. Will Top Row residents make sure they and their neighbours are aware of this planned closure.
