We have just heard from the Planning Officer responsible for the FWP Ltd planning application for the three proposed properties and the community land (The Farthings) on Hethel Road. There will now be a delegated decision. He is minded to recommend approval and not to have the application debated at a Planning Committee meeting.
The decision will not be final until certain requirements have been met and a number of “trigger points” have been established. This includes an agreed S106 (which includes preparation of the whole site) and a suitable commuted sum relating to the transfer of land to the Parish Council. It is anticipated that this process will take two to three months.
The Parish Council will meet with FWP Ltd to firm up on the arrangements for the site and the consolidated sum. There will then be a further meeting with the Planning Officer to finalise the S106.
