![]() I am writing to update you on the status of the South Norfolk Village Clusters Housing Allocations Plan. On 4 August 2025, South Norfolk Council submitted the Village Cluster Housing Allocations Plan to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government for independent examination in accordance with regulation 22 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 (as amended) and Section 20 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 (as amended). The following documents and information have been submitted: The Regulation 19 Pre-submission Draft including Addendum South Norfolk Village Cluster Housing Allocations Plan, July 2024 Sustainability Appraisal and Strategic Environmental Assessment of the South Norfolk Village Clusters Housing Allocations Plan (June 2024) Habitats Regulation Assessment (June 2024) Submission policies maps which show changes to the existing adopted policies maps South Norfolk Village Clusters Housing Allocations Plan Statement of Consultation South Norfolk Village Clusters Housing Allocations Plan Duty to Cooperate Statement Supporting documents and the Core Document Library relevant to the preparation of the South Norfolk Village Clusters Housing Allocations Plan and Copies of representations made in accordance with Regulation 20 The South Norfolk Village Clusters Housing Allocations Plan will now be subject to an independent examination to be conducted by the Planning Inspectorate. Once confirmed, details relating to the examination process will be advertised, made available online and sent to all respondents.
