We wish say thanks to all those who made our third annual Christmas Tree event a resounding and enjoyable success – my singing not withstanding! This is especially so with the happy band of some 50+ adults and children who were in fine (and unaccompanied) singing voice for the carols by the tree.
Nick & Sue very kindly donated the lovely Christmas tree which was trimmed and installed by Andrew. Hughie added the lighting and Andrea provided the songsheets. David and Noel looked out for wayward traffic. Santa came, with his elf-helper and her bucket of goodies, to discuss children’s wishes for Christmas. And, last but not least, the children complemented the tree decoration with extra baubles from Santa.
