With respect to the Parish/Town Council Elections – Thursday 4 May 2023, as the number of valid nominations for Wreningham parish did not exceed the number of vacancies, a contested election will not be required.
A Notice of Result of Uncontested Election will be displayed on the parish noticeboards. The candidates shown as validly nominated are elected with effect from 4 May, 2023.
There remain two vacancies on the parish council, and eligible persons could be co-opted to fill these remaining seats at our next Parish Council meeting (9th May 2023). This is to meet the requirement that co-option should take place within 35 working days of the date of the elections meaning that the co-option should take place between 4 May and 26 June 2023.
