The Farthings site represents a great opportunity for this community to develop a new and bespoke community asset. The deal has not been settled, yet. Various planning processes are underway in parallel with discussions with FWP Ltd about the nature and detail of transfer of the land to Parish Council ownbership. In the light of the meeting in July, and subsequent discussions, FWP Ltd has reviewed its proposals and is in contact with South Norfolk Council.

It is time to consider the community team for creating The Farthings. Hence, you are invited to this meeting. It is specifically to identify the pool of volunteers (in whatever capacity) and then to establish the community team which will design and develop The Farthings.

Hoping to see you on Monday Evening,

    Michael

What is Freesale? It’s a way of passing something on that you don’t want to someone who wants it but NO MONEY IS INVOLVED. No need for Ebay, Gumtree, Freegle, Freecycle, carboot.

Bring your stuff, grab a table, lay it out for others to help themselves then take home anything that is left. Or, if you don’t have anything to bring, come on down and see if we can tempt you with our
offerings. Bring anything: Plants, garden items, House clearance items, Clothes, accessories, household items, Crafting items DIY stuff, tools, Stationery, Jewellery, Luggage, Furniture, Animal items Toys, games, Books, CDs, DVDs Pictures/frames, Musical instruments, Antiques, valuables.

We’ll also be collecting those items that you’d normally collect for a charity e.g. broken/intact jewellery, bras, postage stamps, sleeping bags, bubble wrap and will make sure they’re delivered to the relevant organisation.

In addition, you can drop off all those things you would put in the recycling hub - crisp packets, biscuit or cheese wrappers, coffee bags, toothbrushes & toothpaste tubes or confectionery packaging. There’ll be further information on local recycling and answers to any of your questions.

Have a clear out, pass it on. All we ask is that you take away anything you can’t pass on and, if you can, please give a small (optional) donation towards our chosen charity.

Any questions? Call Val on 01508 488231

This service is a chance for people to remember love ones who are no longer with them. Their names can be entered on a list at the church door and during the service you will be invited to light a candle in their memory. Whether or not you are used to attending a church we invite you to come along. Nobody will ask you to share your memories but in the peace of the building we hope you will be able to recall some of the good times you had.
